Hello! Today, Anna and I, went with Grammy for a Girl Day. We went to Goodwill and Michael's and then we went to Wendy's! When Anna went up to go to the bathroom, Grammy and I played a little game we made up where when Anna isn't around, we pretend we don't know who she is! :) Here is how our conversation went.

Grammy: Who is that?
Me: I don't know! I thought she was with you!
Grammy: I thought she was with you! She must be an orphan.sighs.
Emma: She's an orphan that you don't even know and you bought her lunch?!
Grammy: She looked hungry. I guess she hasn't eaten in while!
Emma: Should we take her with us?
Grammy: I suppose we should do our Christian duty.
We both laughed so hard, some people from another table looked over at us like, "What is the matter with them?" Then, we went to Grammy's house and we made Oatmeal Cookies with Butterscotch Morsels. Yum.
Then, we read and then, Grammy brought me and Anna to Art Class. It's being taught by Rebekah LaCourse. You can check out her website, Sweet Almond Studio, just click on the link. She drew the Maine Duck Stamp. The class was really fun. Then Grammy brought us home. I should have taken pictures!! I will next time I go to the library to help. I couldn't this week because the head librarian was home sick.

Hello! I was looking at Emily Boyd's beautiful blog and I decided to check out the Jane Austen tag she had posted about. The Jane Austen blog is event is being hosted by Grace from Grace's Garden Walk. Her blog is so pretty too! I am SO happy I started a blog! Imagine all the fun stuff you would be missing out on if you hadn't started your blog! Anyway, here is my entry.

1: Let us start by your telling a little bit about your own self. Tell us a bit of your personality.Perhaps, tell a bit of your interests and pastime.

Well, I am 9 years old but I'll be 10 in April. (I am so glad I was born in Spring by the way:) I love to try new things most of the time but I don't think I am ready to try jumping out of a plane just yet. Nana says I'm motor-mouth and I guess I do talk a lot. There's just so much to talk about! I love playing with my 2 year old brother Owen and sometimes I play Polly Pocket's with my sister Anna. I love to cross stitch, knit, I would die without books, I like to bake and sometimes I make supper for Mom. I love making cards and I love looking at other peoples blogs and commenting on all their awesome cards and projects. I am just starting to get interested in photography and Mom is helping me learn all the stuff about the cameras that you need to know to be a good photographer. I also love to play the piano and play with my chihuahua Chica.

2: What literary character {whether it be in a film or book}would you say most describes your personality and mannerisms?

I guess I'm most like Emma from Emma. I haven't read the book but I have watched the movie once. Sometimes, Mom says I'm nosy and Emma was nosy in the movie to. I also have blond hair like hers.

3:What would you describe as the most lovely place to live in 1700's England? A cottage surrounded by woods or a mansion, perhaps to the same resemblance as Pemberley in Miss Austen's Pride and Prejudice.

Well, I guess a mansion with all those servants would be nice but I think I would prefer a log cabin in the woods with a little waterfall of to the right a little. But either of them would be nice.

4: List some of your favorite and least favorite literary works you have read.

I really like the Anne of Green Gables series. (I am going through it) I also like Little Women and Jane Eyre. I read Emily of New Moon and I didn't really like it. I don't know why, it's a very popular book, I just didn't like it.
5:What would you describe as a most admirable heroine?
I think that Anne would make a great heroine. She has everything that heroine should have.(I think. I am not an expert on heroines) She's kind and loving, she's daring and brave, she is stubborn sometimes but every heroine has to get stubborn every once in a while.
6: If you could spend afternoon tea in the company of your favorite literary heroine, to whom would you spend it with?
Anne definitely.
7:Which is to your liking more:: tea or coffee?
I like coffee a little but I like tea better.
8:Which of Jane Austen's couples are you more fond of?
Sorry Emily, I am going to have to copy you. My favorite is Mr. Knightly and Emma.
9:What is one {a few} of your favorite literary quotes?

Marilla: Oh, Davy. Gentlemen don't eat like an animal!

Davy: But Marilla, I don't wanna be a 'gemplum!'
Anne of Green Gables.

10: Are you fond of dancing, singing or reading a good book?
I like to sing but I like to read much better than anything else.

11: And lastly, as this event is also hosted in celebration of my garden's second anniversary,would you mind explaining perhaps, how you stumbled upon my little plot of earth? Wink.

Hello! This is a card I made for Carly's recent sketch challenge. I also used the turtle image from Carly's Digi Shop which Carly and her mom graciously gave me for free! As Mom says, "I love getting free stuff!!" Who doesn't? Anyway, If you look closely in this pic, you can see how Mom let me use her Copics and if you look really close, you can see that I polka-dotted parts of her shell! I have a "job!"

Hello! I hope everyone is safe and snug in this weather! Baby O has an appointment with Doctor O, (I don't know how to spell his real name so everyone calls him Doctor O) because Owen's foot has been hurting in his brace a lot. Owen's foot is better but Mom says he will probably have surgery when he is 3 or 4. Anyway, last week, I helped out at the library! I learned how to re-shelf books and check books out! Mrs. Blake, (the head librarian) said I could be her Thursday girl! I might be able to go in today and if I do, maybe Mrs. Blake will let me take some pictures! Anyway, and here are some pictures of Baby O yesterday before he woke up. I like in the first one how I made his hand look giant! I couldn't help myself! This is his foot without the brace. That foot is looking great! I didn't get a pic of his other foot because he woke up. Then,in the last picture, he woke up.

Get Fired Up!

Hello! For our Christmas present, Aunt Heidi and Mom gave us an outing to Get Fired Up! It's a pottery shop in Sanford. You can go in and choose a mug or a bowl or a figurine,etc. Then, you paint it and they fire it up for you and they call to come pick up your piece when it's done. Our cousins, Alivia and Jillian, came over for a sleepover and we took them. I made myself a mug with pink speckles and Mom wrote my name on the front in Teal. Anna made a really pretty red cardinal. Jillian painted a cat and Alivia painted a penguin with such chubby cheeks, you can't resist pinching them even if he is pottery! Anyway, now Alivia left with her Mom to visit her great Nanny and Aunt Heidi left Jillian here and she is going to pick her up when she comes back in the afternoon! Hello! Hope you are enjoying this absolutely bee-u-tiful snowstorm! I got about 27 pictures from the views of all our windows. And we have a lot of windows. Hello! Here are 2 more cards I made and a candy holder.
Mom had made one a few days ago and I copied hers. Of course hers was better but Dad had a hard time telling who made which! (I don't know if he was kidding or not.) And Mom didn't let me use one of her Heart Sparklets so I had to use a poopy old gemstone.

This is the card I made for La-La Land's challenge. You have to use blue and have at least 1 snowflake on your card. Mommy let me use her Copics to color it so the image turned out great. I also sparkled up the snowflake by putting white glitter over it.

This is just a close-up I got of the sentiment. I covered 'FRIEND' in white glitter.

OK, these pictures I took of this card are not the best. This is the only picture where you can see the sentiment clearly.

This is the whole card. A bit blurry but it was the best one.
I want to thank Mrs. Weaver for sending me the Marci stamps because Mom had bought me the Fancy Marci digi and I had used that to enter like 4 La-La Land challenges and she sent me the Fancy Marci stamp and the Cheerleader Marci. They are so cute!

Christmas Photos

Hello! Here are some Christmas pictures. They are pretty late but, with the days following Christmas and New Year's well, I guess you know how hard it would be to sit down and type a blog post. This first picture is of our Christmas tree before we got to it.

This next picture is Ethan and his new Monkey Pillow Pet.We all got one except Anna who had gotten one for her birthday. Aaron got a dog,Owen got a "baby mooth" as Owen says and I got a giraffe.

Judging by this next picture,I don't think Chica enjoyed her first Christmas at the Masse's to much!

Here is me trying on my new slippers. OK, I admit, new Christmas pajamas, a new snow hat and new slippers don't make the best combination.

And here is Ethan, trying on his new camo pattern watch. He's going to be 7 in March! Eeesh!

And this is the family room and the Christmas tree after we got to it. That is my giraffe pillow pet, the big orange and yellow thing.

Don't tell Dad I posted a picture of him. This is Dad trying on his new scarf I bought him.

And this is my favorite picture. This was taken after Church, when Grammy,Grampy and Aunt Jen came over and each of the boys had gotten a pair of underwear. (Aaron and Ethan inform me that they are boxer shorts not underwear) But Owen got a pack of onesies. Anyway, Aaron had gone up to his room and tried on a pair of his "boxer shorts" and then come back down to the family room. When he saw that everyone was looking at him,he jumped into that big gift bag that my pillow pet was in, and he said he wouldn't get out until everyone else got out. Then,he found that he could not get out! We got him out in the end.

Marshmallow

Hello! A few months after Hershey died, we got a new bunny! His name was Ruby but we changed it to Marshmellow. He lives out on the backporch and he came wiht his own cage, canteloupe, carrots, lettuce, a toy moose, and a leash and harness! He still isn't very friendly but we feed him and play with him alot. I love reading the American Girl books and one of the American Girls, her name is Kirsten and she is Swedish.Well,in one of her books, it is Christmas time and Kirsten is Santa Lucia and it is one of my favorite American Girl books. The other one is The Story of Louisa May Alcott. All of them are GREAT! If you love Little Women, you would love this. I also love the SummerHill Secret books. Beverly Lewis is the author of SummerHill Secrets, also rights Amish books for grown-ups too. I loved all of them and I hope you'll check them out!

Thanksgiving at OVCS

Hello! Today, at Ossipee Valley Christian School, which is the school our church supports, had a Thanksgiving Workshop. When Mom told us, we thought it would be so fun......... and then she told us that we had to go in costume. Oh boy. Well, Mom borrowed a blouse, apron and a shawl from a friend and wore a skirt and a paper bonnet. Anna was an Indian using one of our old cowgirl outfits which was a skirt and a vest with fringe.Ethan was an Indian using a shirt and pants with cool designs and a headband with feathers and a little plastic hatchet.Aaron pretty much just had a hat. And I had a borrowed dress and apron and a bonnet. It was fun! There was archery, shooting, wreath making, outdoor cooking, candle-making, native headbands, turkey hand-print-making, walnut shell boats, tin lantern making, story bookmaking, and my favorite, butter-making! I made butter and then made a boat and then went back to help the other kids make butter, and I stayed at butter-making till lunch. Making butter was fun! Here are the directions. First, you will need heavy cream.If you are making a lot of butter, you will need maybe a quart of heavy cream. Next, you will need some little plastic containers or for less mess, use some of those big square containers. Pour a little bit of heavy cream into the containers.Make sure the top is on tight. Then, shake,shake shake! It will take about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes or so, take the top off and check it. It should be yellow-ish and there will be clumps of butter. Before molding it, wash your hands really well. Then, pour most of the buttermilk out of the container and take the butter clumps in your hand. Squeeze all the buttermilk out of your butter and then, pour maybe 2/4 teaspoons of salt onto your butter and squish that in and then mold it into a ball. Put it in a dish and it should harden in about 6 minutes or so. Have fun!

Last night, I was trying to get a card done really quick and I was trying to draw a bear cub out of a drawing book and Mom tried. It turned out, Mom is pretty good at drawing so I used her bear. Isn't it cute? Then, I made the card while Mom tried out her just discovered drawing talents. I used stamps from the Camp-out set from The Cat's Pajama's .

Polka Dot Challenge and Genie Card

Hello! I am posting a card I made for Carly's new challenge. The new challenge is Polka Dots. Visit Carly's blog for more information. I used Carly's Paper Rose Tutorial to make the little pink rose on the ribbon. If you can't read the little sentence I wrote near the bottom, it says, "Party in Pink!" I used the Fancy Marci digi stamp from La-La Land. It's the same image I used for my Halloween Treat Container that I had made for their previous challenge.

This is a card I made about a week ago but I just never got around to taking a picture! Does that ever happen to any of you? I used a piece of clear paper and traced a genie out of a drawing book. I was looking through mine and Anna's paper stash and found the red paper with the swirly pattern and I thought, "Perfect for a genie card!" Don't you think? Then I thought up a sentence to put on my card and I wrote, "If I could have just 1 wish, I'd wish for YOU." They were both fun cards to make.

Hello! I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! Here are some pictures.

At the end is Sofia our friend (Ethan's girlfriend from since he was 4!) She was Darth Vader. Then Anna is the Tin (Wo) man, I was Dorothy and I am holding Owen. He was wearing Anna's old cat costume but Mom didn't have time to make dog ears so Toto was sick so I had to bring my cat. Aaron was the Cowardly Lion and Ethan was the Scarecrow.

I also entered the Halloween challenge at Carly's challenge blog, La-La Land crafts for kids. I used the Fancy Marci digi stamp and made her look like Dorothy. Mom helped me make the tag. Enjoy all the pictures! Thanks for looking at my blog!

Hello! I hope everyone is warm and getting power back! We didn't lose power, but got a least 10-11 inches of snow. Anna, Ethan and I dug the cars out and then Daddy and I, dug out our driveway. Thankfully, when it would have taken us another 30 minutes to finish, Our neighbors plow guy came by and plowed our driveway. Then, we went to my dad's parent's house to help Grampy dig out his long driveway. Lucky for us, Daddy's sister Aunt Jennifer was there! She just lost her job and she had come over to use Grammy's computer to look for jobs. Anyway, this is a card I made for Carly's Challenge. I used Mommy's Copic markers to color it and used her pumpkin dye to cut out the pumpkin shape. I used The Cat's Pajama's Halloween twine in the picture. Enjoy! P.S. Halloween and a new pen-pal!

Hello!

I can't wait! Halloween is on Monday! I am going to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Anna is going to be the "Tin-woman", Ethan will be the scarecrow, Aaron will be the Lion and Owen will be Toto! My cousin Alivia, will be an angle, her sister Jillian will be a pirate, Delaney will be a duck and I don't know what McKinley will be yet. Some of Mommy's friends are missionary's in Indonesia and they have a daughter named Emmaleigh. They will be coming to the USA for about 7 months and they will be traveling all over the place. Now, she and I are pen-pals! Mom said it will take 3 weeks or more for my letter to get to her, and about 3 weeks for her letter to get to me.
I have to go. Mom is standing over my shoulder saying "school time"and poking me. Yuk.

Who's up for a night in the car?

Hello!

OK, so tonight, my mom, Anna,Owen, my grandmother, my Aunt Tiny and Aunt Norma and I, are going to drive all night to Fort Kent for my grandmother's family reunion.On Friday, Grammy is going to show us around, where she was born and grew up, stuff like that. Then, on Saturday is the reunion. Then, we will get home late Sunday evening. My grandmother rented this great van because she said she didn't want to put all those miles on our van. It's really nice. The trunk is huge and it is very deep. And parts of the floor lift up into storage space. Uncle Jon let us borrow their CD player for the car and Anna and I brought plenty of books. My Aunt Jenifer is going to come over to our house tonight and is going to stay with Daddy and the 2 boys, tonight and Friday, they are going to the lake with my grandfather. Aunt Jenifer said when they go to the lake, my dad is going in! I have to go.

OK, so my hamster, Biscuit, he is like 1 and 4 months or almost 2 or something and his right eye looks really weird. Mom looked and said he might just be blind in one eye because he's getting old, but I want to know for sure but our vet does not do hamsters! Any suggestions?

good morning! sorry, but for some reason, my capital button is not working. anyway, on sunday, anna, me and victoria (toria) and ilse daniels, heather and hannah buckley, willow sitton, and soraya syafurudin are all going to camp cedarbrook for a week. soraya and i, went last year and anna went to day camp. this year, ethan can go to day camp. i like the name soraya. it is an indonesian name. her father was born in indonesia and then he came to america. i can't wait! this will be mine and soraya's 2nd summer at camp. i have to go help mom with owen.

A lady at our Church, Mrs. Meserve died. She had a heart attack and has been in the hospital since the end of January. Her funeral is on Thursday. Sad. Just like Mr. Whaley and Mr. Carrol.

2 summer cards.

Hello! In the past couple days, I worked on these 2 cards. I love the Cat's Pajamas summer stamps!

Here are my cards.

For this one, I took a blue card, and put green paper over it and then I put a tag shaped piece on the green,
and I taped the white oval on. I stamped, "Fun in the Sun" on the tag and made a little flower, the sun, and I put some Bahama Beach sand under Sprinkle. And when I was covering the words with silver, I got a little on Sprinkle's eyes, so I made her sunglasses.

For this one I taped blue paper onto green and white onto blue, stamped the penguin and the little ship windows and I stamped, Whatever floats your boat! And I think I got a little too much beak-screen on the penguin's beak! And for a special touch, I put glassy glaze over the windows. Thanks for looking at my blog!

Ugh, Saturday, Ethan woke and said his belly hurts and had diarrhea and was vomiting and then the doctor said it was a stomach bug. Then I woke up this morning and I didn't feel good but I have not had diarrhea and I was not vomiting. So me and Ethan have been in bed all day and I feel horrible!

Hello! Yesterday, at about, 4:00, Mom, Anna & I, went to meet Mrs. DiMarco to get Chica.Then, we went to a pet store and got her a collar and harness and leash. A food bowl and a rope toy and ball. Me and Mom had made her a fluffy pink cupcake bed the other day and when we got home, she went right up and settled down in her bed. This morning, I took her outside, didn't have to go, brought her in and gave her breakfast, and then we played with her and right now I am on Mom's bed typing this and Chica is sleeping on the bed right next to me. We brought her out because Dad started the stove and it is warmer out here. Nana and Poppy are coming here for dinner so they can meet her.Nana is also making her a pink sweater.

Hello! Remember how I was saying I was getting a puppy for my b-day? Well, we found a puppy and I was looking at Mom's e-mail to look at the pictures again, and I saw a conversation Mommy and the lady, Mary, had had the other day. And I asked Mommy, "what have you been planning?" and she had to tell me. She & Daddy had already bought the puppy. It was supposed to be my BIG surprise. But that's all she told me but I know that we are going to get her sometime very soon before the weekend because she is going to Rhode Island for the weekend. Now, I wish I hadn't looked. I REALLY wish I hadn't. REALLY REALLY wish I hadn't. Huhh. Me and my big head full of curiosity.

Good morning!
I can't wait! My b-day is in 30 days! I am going to be 9 years old! Mom & Dad are getting me a Chihuahua puppy and Grammy & Grampy are getting some squeaky toys and Nana is knitting me a sweater for her!
We have a Dentist Appointment at 10:00 in the morning! What were you thinking Mom? Way to early!

Saint Patty's Day.

Hello! Happy Saint Patty's Day! This morning, Mom was looking on Facebook and she saw that someone else was making green pancakes and green milk for her kids so Mom made some green eggs and green milk, and ave it to us with an Irish accent. And for lunch, we had more green milk, we all dressed in green and Mom made green Curly Noodles! And for supper we will have green milk, green peas and I am going to put green tissue paper over the light so the light looks green! Well, we are all going out to play now.

Hello! This afternoon at Church, I was helping our teacher, Mrs. Daniels, clean up the classroom for next Sunday and I asked her how old you have to be to be a helper in the Nursery. She said that there is not a certain age, but you just have to like it and be good at it. And I said I would LOVE to be a helper in Nursery and she said.... she will put my name on the list of Nursery helpers!! Some weeks, I will help in the Nursery and some weeks I will be a Junior Church helper since I now stay out in Church with Mom and Dad.
I LOVE to work in the nursery but today it was SO crazy! Aaron and 2 little boys named Cooper, and Zeph, were all running around and there was a little girl named Kaylee playing on the floor and then Owen and a 10 month old baby named Zye, Zeph's little brother, were both crawling on the floor. Owen would start to cry and I would pick him up and Zye would see Owen was getting attention and he would start crying. Then I would pick him up and Owen would cry!! So I kept picking one and putting the other down and then switching!!

Hi! I just can't seem to stop thinking about Spring! I LOVE Spring not just because I will turn 9 in the Spring but I love to go outside and play in our yard! I think it is so much prettier in the Spring! The grass is green, Daddy is going to help us fill up Ruby's doggy holes, Mommy's lilac bush is growing, and we have little white flowers and yellow flowers all over our yard! But I am excited about turning 9! And when I turn 9, like my cousin did, I am going to Horse Camp when I turn 9 so I can learn how to ride and take care of a horse!! I LOVE horses! They are my absolute favorite animal! I don't know why but they are!

Hi again! Daddy promised the next time Ruby has puppys, we would keep one and now he is saying no and so we are going to get a different kind of puppy. So, I talked to them about it and the puppy will be mine and will be given to me on my birthday!!! And it's going to be a Chihuahua! I LOVE Chihuahuas! Now, I am going to name it a Spanish name but I can't decide between Leya, which means Loyal, or Chica which means Little Girl. What would you choose?

To Old Already.

Hello! Since today is Sunday, we went to Church as we always do. Usually, we go to Sunday School which is in the morning and Junior Church which is a little later in the afternoon. After Sunday School, we go out in the Church and sit with our parents. During the 2nd hymn we sing, all the kids and 1 grownup all go out and go either to the downstairs room our the upstairs room and have Junior Church. Well, last week, Me and Ilse Daniels and the girl I went to summer camp with Soraya Syafurudin, and Kendra Rodriguez and Carter Fullerton all graduated out of Junior Church and will now be sitting out in Church the entire time with our parents. This my first time and I didn't even stay out the whole because Mommy and I could hear Baby O crying all the way back in the nursery and so we went back there to calm him down and ended up staying there until Church was over. But, I LOVE to help in the nursery because all the little kids are so cute! Today we had a lot of little kids and really little kids. There was Aaron and Owen, and a little boy named Brent Pierce who is I think almost 1, and a little boy named Zeph Dunbar who is the son of the Assistant Pastor who is I think like maybe 2 and his baby brother named Zye who is 9 months and a little girl named Kaylee who is I think maybe 1 or 1/2.

Hello! On a different post of mine, I told how Mom, Anna Owen and I, went to NY for Great Aunt Gladys & Uncle Ajax's 50th anniversary party. Before the party, we went to their house and Aunt Gladys brought down a bunch of dolls and let me and Anna each choose one. Anna's was very Christmasy and she named her, Noel. I named mine Andrea and I took some pictures of her. Here she is!

Funniest Guy Ever!

Hello! A couple of weeks ago, Anna, Ethan, Aaron and Me, started watching a show on the TV that a lot of you might have watched when you were little. It's called, " Bill Cosby's Fat Albert and The Cosby Kids." It was hilarious! Mom and Uncle Jon watched it when they were little and it is the best! Later, Mom looked it up on the computer and we all listened to Bill Cosby's HILARIOUS Chicken Heart, Part 1 and 2. It was SO funny! Now, everyone is going around the house, quoting it! "Snakes! I gotta go to the bafroom! Now, don't you bite! I'm gonna put, put my little toe out. Now, don't you bite it! You can just give it a little snaky lick! Lalalalalalala! Okay, listen, you can bite it, but just a little! Don't put none of your juice in it! Yes Mother, I'm tired any way, the Sandman's beating me to death, excuse me for not seeing you to the door but I'm so tired. Hahahahaha!!

Good morning everyone! Here are some of the Christmas pictures.

The boys were so excited about getting this game. It has been a big hit with the whole family! Me and Anna have played it, and even Daddy likes to watch!

Is this the cutest face you've ever seen or what?! He really liked the cool toy from Great Aunt Tiny and Uncle Wayne! Cutie!

Uncle Jason and Aunt Denise sent us this great puppet stage and 4 puppets. It was a big hit. We all planned a little play and did it for Gram and Gramp and Aunt Jenny.

When this was happening, Owen looked up at Mom and looked like saying if he could, Get me out of here before I drown in wrapping paper!

Puppet show again. Sorry about the white thing. That's Ethan getting his puppet ready. And this last one is all the cousins at Nana and Poppy's house. Aaron, Alivia, Me,(holding Owen) Anna, Ethan, Delaney,(who was kinda tired) and Jillian.

Twas Christmas Day!

Merry Merry Merry Christmas everyone!!!!! We woke up at 7:00 this morning and had to wait about 15 minutes for Mom to get ready. Ugh. Well, anyway, we had a great time opening presents and helping Baby O open his. But, our favorite thing that we got are our Calico Critters. You can find them by going to, http://www.calicocritters.com/. They are really cool. Aaron got the Norwood Mouse Family. Father, Chester, Mother, Brie, Brother, Colby, and Sister, Nibbles. Ethan got the Pickleweed Hedgehog Family. Father, Harold, Mother, Heloise, Brother, Harry, and Sister,Haley. Anna got the Furbank Squirrels Family. Father, Kennith, Mother, Emma, (I'm named after a squirrel!) Brother, Douglas, and Sister, Greta. And I got the Yellow Labrador Family. Father, Barker, (perfect for a dog huh?) Mother, Lucy, and Brother and Sister, Buddy and Sadie. Anna also got the little squirrel twins who are adorable!! Their names are Girl, Fay, and Boy, Ray. I have to go. I will post pictures later.

Twas The Night Before Christmas......

Hello everyone! I know I just posted yesterday about pretty much the same thing, but, I'm so excited! On Christmas Eve, it's so close to Christmas and I know it, that get the jitterbugs. Whatever that is. On Christmas Eve, at about 5:00, at our Church, we always have a Christmas Eve candlelight service. After we sing and Pastor talks a little, everyone who wants to, can go up and get a candle, and light from it another candle. Than, you go stand against the wall and the lights are turned out. It's really cool. But, I'm not going to do it. I am going to stay in the nursery and help, because last year, Aaron got to hold a candle and he was right next to me, and I leaned over to tell him to try to hold the candle still because he was wobbling it, and my hair caught fire from his candle, so, I'm helping in the nursery tonight.

Hi Everyone! I just can't wait! Christmas is so so so close!!! Here are the presents I got for everyone. For Daddy, and Mom, I got matching coffee mugs, and some Dunkin Donuts coffee. For Anna, I got a little stuffed bunny rabbit. Ethan's is a stuffed puppy dog with a ball attached. Aaron's is a Spider-Man lunchbox and Owen got a little stuffed gray rabbit. My cousin, Alivia, gets a box to hold her earrings in. Jillian's is a soft stuffed kitty cat, and Delaney get's a Beanie Baby Holiday Teddy. Aunt Heidi gets a bracelet and Uncle Jonathan gets a mug. Grampy gets something to hang a stocking on and I got Poppy one too. Grammy's is a glass pot to put flour of sugar in. Nana's is a glass heart-shaped box to put her earrings in. And my friend, Mrs. Wanger, gets a clear glass serving plate.

Decorations, and now the Tree!

Hi Everyone! Last Sunday, we were are still a little sick so we stayed home from Church and slept almost the whole day and watched movies on the new program that Mom and Dad gave us as an early Christmas present. It's called Roku. It's really cool. You can get movies on Hulu and Netflix and even rent movies from Amazon! How cool is that?! Well, at the end of the day, we were feeling better (and needed something for supper) so we decided, to go get our Christmas Tree! And Daddy was so tired (cause he had just gotten up) he didn't even really dress! Just a T-shirt with a warm fleecy flannel shirt over it, his coat and gloves and get this, he wore his Pajama pants! Ha! Well, anyway, after ruining our shoes marching through the icky gicky mud, we chose a tree and went in to pay for it. There, Dad and Mom had a glass of Apple Cider and all of us had a cookie. We also got 1 piece of candy and the lady filled little plastic bags with "reindeer food" for all of us except Owen. (It was really just some Rolled Oats mixed with some pretty purple glitter. We are saving them for Christmas Eve Night to sprinkle on the ground for Santa Claus's reindeer.Ha!) Aaron likes Rudolph best. So,we got Subway for supper, got home, ate, had Advent and fell asleep.

Sadly, we don't have as many because last year, our Christmas Tree fell, breaking quite a few of our ornaments including Mom's angel. Hi! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Today we watched the Macy's 85th Thanksgiving Day Parade! Than, our cousins and aunt and uncle came and then our grandparents and our other aunt! Right now, the grownups are talking and all the kids are watching "Scooby-Doo's Creepiest Capers, Hassle in The Castle. Spooky! I have a challenge. For the next few hours, whoever wants to, can post what they are thankful for. I am thankful for my family and friends, and I'm very thankful for this wonderful holiday!

Older cards and a Craft

Hi! I was looking on my pictures to see if Mom had added any more pictures of my cards and I found a few pictures from a couple years ago that I forgot to post! The first picture, is of a little Christmas Caroler I made for my Aunt 2 years ago! I painted a card-board tube pink and I used darker pink felt for the mittens. I used one of Mom's marker to make the mouth and cheeks and eyes. I cut up some of Mom's old music for the sheet music. For the hat, I took an old sock and cut the heel and some of the top off. Than, I put one end of the sock on the Caroler's head, and the other end I tied with ribbon. And the others are older cards I made.

Hi! This morning, while I was watching the news with Mom and Dad, they had all this Christmas stuff. Music, they had people skating, decorations, they were even wearing Christmas clothes! I can't wait! Advent starts really soon and Ethan will be old enough to light a candle by himself this year! I can't wait! Last year, we read a book called, Jotham's Journey. This year, we will read a book about his friend, Bartholomew. Sorry if I spelled that wrong. I not exactly very good in spelling.

I was sick once more and then one more time and I didn't have to do any more. Now it is lunch time and I am having some dry toast. Hi! Here are the Halloween pictures. This first picture is our driver for half of the evening, Senor Juan. His mustache is much better than Ethan's Pilgrim one, isn't it? The next picture is half of the crew. Daddy as a hunter. Mom said you can't really tell it's a costume in Maine! Our friend, Ilse, the one on the floor next to me was "Cleocatra" The next picture is adorable. Isn't he SO cute! At least he was perfectly warm the whole time! Anna is so cute in this next picture. I love her nose and whiskers! And the last picture is the one Mom likes. Isn't Owen the cutest little rooster you've ever seen? Mom was a hunter also but the only part of her that was warm was her feet because she had on Daddy's hunting boots. Let's see what we come up with next year! Thanks for looking at my blog!

I can't wait! Tomorrow is Halloween! We will go"Trick or Treating" with our friends, the Milos. Mr. Milo, is trying to attach a trailer to his truck so we can ride in the trailer! Hi!
Yesterday, Me, Mom and Anna, went to a store that sells baby stuff called, The Baby Mama, and bought Aaron an ADORABLE little monkey suit with a top and bottom and a little pocket with a banana in it! For Owen, we got this little cowboy suit with a leather hat and a little velvet vest and little fringed chaps. But, IT WAS TO SMALL!!!! I can't believe it was to small! It's SO cute!! But, since it doesn't fit, he will be a rooster. Ethan is going to be a tiger, using a mask, tail and little bow-tie we got at Walmart. He will wear a black shirt and pants also. Anna, is going to be a bunny rabbit. She also has a bow-tie, little bunny tail and headband with ears. She will wear a light pink leotard with white tights. I, will be a black cat. I also have a black cat mask with ears, and a bow-tie and a tail. I will wear a black leotard with black tights and my new, high-heeled, black shoes. I will post pictures later!

Sometimes, Rainy Days can be fun too!

Hi!
Today, since it was raining, we decided to have a fun day indoors, learning about The Pilgrims and The Indians, and The First Thanksgiving! So, we got dressed, and went down in the barn and brought up wood, and Mom made a fire and then I made Hot Cocoa and we all watched a Bible Story Movie and when that was done, I read the book called, Squanto and The First Thanksgiving! It tells how Thanksgiving has been celebrated for over 350 years, and how it got started. We usually think right away of The Pilgrims, but it tells how it really got started, with a Patuxet Indian named Squanto. A lot of you, (this is in the book) may not have heard of the Patuxet Tribe. That's because Squanto was the very last Patuxet alive!Then it tells the Thanksgiving story. So, when that was done, we all went up-stairs and got paper, pencils and crayons and drew pictures of what we think a Patuxet Indian would have looked like and then we drew pictures, of what we think a Pilgrim would have looked like! Then, we dressed up and pretended we were Pilgrims. Here's a picture of us dressed up like Pilgrims - or trying to look like pilgrims. Like Ethan's paper "beard and mustache" Anna made him? Hahaha!

Hi!
I just had to tell you! My Uncle Jeremy is coming home from working on his ship on Saturday!!!
Yea!! I can't wait! Every time Uncle Jer comes home, we have a party at our house. Just us and Daddy's parents,
Grammy and Grampy, and Daddy's sister, Aunt Jennifer. And we have dinner and talk in the family room and talk some more and talk and talk and talk until its time for us to go to bed. Both my Uncles on Daddy's side, his 2 brothers, live very far away. (I only have 1 uncle on Mom's side) Uncle Jeremy lives in Thailand and is Daddy's youngest brother. Uncle Jason lives in Hawaii and is Daddy's oldest brother. And Aunt Jen is the baby.

Hi!
Tomorrow morning, at 6:00 in the morning, Me, Dad, and my 5 year old brother, Ethan, are going to go out hunting! Me and Ethan aren't going to take bows but we will look for deer for Dad. We will all be on the ground.
I've never gone hunting before but Ethan has.
I can't wait! Maybe we'll get one!
Daddy's birthday was yesterday. We had a Pumpkin Pie that Grammy made.
Owen's birthday is next week, October 9th.
And Nana's birthday is October 11th.
Baby O is going to be 1 year old!
Yea!

Hi!
On Friday, Me, Mom, Anna and Owen, all drove to New York for Mom's Uncle Ajax and Aunt Gladys's 50th Anniversary party. 5 hours in the car with none of those little T.V. things to watch movies on, and no car game we know, isn't a very pleasant way to travel. But, we did stop and get coloring books. When we got there, Mom showed us her house where she grew up and showed us a few other places and then we went to our hotel, and went to the hotel pool, and went to visit Mom's friend, Mrs. Ryan, (we call her Aunt Becky because she and Mom grew up together). She has 5 kids like us, but they are ALL boys. Her oldest, Nathan, was at a friends, and her 2nd oldest went out to some event, and so we had dinner with Her, Uncle Pat, Her 4 boys, Jeremy I think is 12 or 13, Matthew, who is 10, Christopher, who is 4, and Sean, who is 2. Then on Saturday, we went out for breakfast, and drove around a little, visited Mom's Uncle Paul, and then we went to Uncle Ajax and Aunt Gladys party, and drove home which took 6 hours cause we had to stop for the baby.
All in all, we had a great time.

Hi! As some of you might already have heard, our Golden Retriever, Ruby, has been pregnant! Last week, the day we were coming home from camping, Nana and Poppy, Mom's parents, called. (They had been watching Ruby while we were gone). That morning, Poppy had come downstairs and she had already had 6 puppies by herself. Then she had 4 more, then I called Poppy and she had had 3 more! So now, in the whelping box on the back porch is a Momma and 13 ADORABLE puppies! 7 girls and 6 boys. I think we have 2 runts. A boy and girl. Since Ruby can't feed them all at the same time we split them in 2 groups. While one group eats, the other group sleeps in a box Mom put a blanket in and put the heating pad under it. And she switches them every 2 hours. At night too! Here are some pictures. So ADORABLE!!!!!!!

Aaahh, this is the life. A full belly+ laying in sun= a happy pup.

We love to pig pile on each other. Its warm and fun!

Hi! Yesterday, as you might have known, was my Dad and Mom's 10nth Anniversery! So, this morning, we watched the video of them getting married. On their honeymoon, Daddy decided he wanted to shave his entire beard and mustache off. He looked SO much like his younger brother. Hope your reading this Uncle Jer! So, today, since we go camping Monday, he decided to shave his entire beard and mustache off again! But then , when he was doing it, Mom said to him, "You know you have to go to Church on Sunday like this." Dad forgot he had to go to Church on Sunday! Here's a picture. Enjoy! Emma..

Hi. Monday, Me, Anna and Ethan started School. Anna is in 1rst grade, Ethan is in Kindergarten and I am in 3rd! We do it in the morning when Owen takes his nap and Aaron will be watching either "Bob the Buiber" (Bob the Builder) or "Di-a-go" (Diego) That's what Aaron calls them. This year Ethan learns to read. And, much to Daddy's delight, Biology. Which is hard to understand.

This is a card I made for Children's Challenge Corner challenge #9 - Ribbons and Bows. I used this cute Sophia image from Paper Pretties. As some of you might have guessed, I tried to make it look like Ariel the Disney Princess. My Dad said, "She looks a little chubby for Ariel!" Mom did the waves and the clouds, but I did the mermaid all by myself. Mom said that there's no way the Magazine will publish my card. Why? Thanks for visiting! Emma.

Hello. Here is a card I made for the Children's Challenge Corner.. The challenge is to make a Father's Day card. I made a workshop with a work-table, and a hammer hanging up on a nail ( which is really a brad.) and then I made the sign. It says, Carpentry. You need it, I make it. And I put glitter on it. And then to make saw-dust I used some Bahama Beach sand. Which you can find at MuddPuddles.net.

Here is a card I made for Children's Challenge Corner.. The challenge is to make a thinking of you card. I made this card for Mr.Whaley.(just in-case you don't know,rawr means I love you) I made it when our cousins,Alivia and Jillian,came over for a sleepover.So we slept that night and the next afternoon,Mom said we should all make a card for the challenge.So we did.We brought Mom's ink,paper,white paper,markers,pencils,tape,cutter,and scissors.Whew! Hi! Here are two cards I made. The first one is a snowman one.I took some blue paper with white dots and then I took some white paper and stamped the snowmen and then on the woman snowman's lace and the snow I put some white glitter then I wrote let it snow and then I pop dotted a snowflake on.The next one is a stamp I got for Christmas I stamped it on a white paper and then taped the white to the blue and then colored it then wrote sweet. Hi.Today was my First Spelling Bee!I was in the Second Grade Group so was my Friend Autumn and my Friend Bethany.
