The stockings were hung by the chimney with care......

Hello!
Okay.....I'm back with another Christmas card!! Have I mentioned I love making Christmas cards? Well, I've only said two or three times so I'll say it again..........I love making Christmas cards!:) I used this adorable Christmas set from Avocado Arts- the set is called Very Merry-isn't it cute? Well, I used some dark green paper and then some adorable snowflake paper from Mom's paper pad. I cut out the fireplace I had colored, attached the stockings and put gold glitter on the ends! Then, in an old sewing box we have, I found some black lace, put it on the edge and then added some cute holiday bows along with the lace! Then, I stamped 'Very Merry' and 'Christmas' and then wrote on the inside 'The stockings were hung by the chimney with care.' Enjoy the pictures!

Here is the whole card......what do you think?

Here is a close up of the fire......looks
cozy!!

I made the stockings mismatched-I think they're
cute.........waiting to be filled with presents!

Here is the 'Very Merry' up top.............

And here is the 'Christmas' on the bottom.

Here is a close up of the bows and lace....

And here is the little sentiment inside.

Well, I hope you like it! I'll be back soon with a recipe and pictures!!

Thanks for looking at my blog!

Wishing you a warm and cozy holiday season.

Hello! I'm back with another card.......a Christmas card! Yes, it's that time of year again!! Peppermint.......hot cocoa....Christmas lights.......trees........Advent.........cozy fires........reading Christmas books..........Michael Buble Christmas music............candles........sunsets...........presents. Okay, now, onto the card! I LOVE doing Christmas cards......there are so many cute images....patterned paper...and ribbon to use!! I used this adorable little image from The Stamping Boutique and then used some cute holiday patterned paper from my mom's stash:) Then, I tied some brown polka-dot ribbon around, added some cute little Christmas strings at the corners and stamped 'Wishing you a warm and cozy holiday season' on some white paper, added some popcorn kernels and........ta-da!

Here is the whole thing.....what do you think?

Here are the little green Christmas strings at the corners.

I used some glitter on the ornaments
to make an extra special Christmas tree:)

I love this image! I like to imagine that the little children
are sitting up, waiting for Santa Claus:)

I was so lucky to find this little piece of popcorn in Mom's
Christmas stamp set! It went perfectly with the sentiment:)

And then also used sparkles on the berries in the wreath.
Oh, by the way, The sock with green patches is the girl's,
the sock with red patches is the boy's:)

Well, that's all for now! I'll be back soon with some more Christmas cards!!

Boo!

Hello!
Sorry I haven't been posting lately- it's really busy around here with school and stuff:) Well, I finally have a
card to share with you today! I made it for the Crafter's Cafe October Kid's Challenge! The theme is Black
and Orange+Halloween so it should be fun! They also have a tutorial on how to make an origami frame! It looks really simple and it is really cute! I used this creepy little dude from Guylou's Inimitability and then added some little bats for a little 'spookiness' and Anna advised me that it would so much better if I made scary faces in the two o's in BOO! So, I did and I must say, it doesn't look as bad as I thought:) Go on over to The Crafter's Cafe and check out their awesome challenge!

Isn't he creepy?:)

Here is a close-up of the little bat-those stitches look painful!:)
I'll be back soon with some pictures to share with you! Until then-

I've been busy.

Hello! Happy Valentine's Day! I have been busy making cards. I don't have pictures of the Valentine's I made yet but I will have them done soon! This is a card I made for our sketch challenge at Children's Challenge Corner. I drew the sketch. (My first sketch!) Sorry about the bad pictures. I am still working on taking good photos. I used the Heart Balloon Bella and I used glitter for the top part of her dress and I used fuzz for the balloons.

This is the Valentine I made for Owen. I love the sentiments that come with the stamp! One of the sentiments says, "Fly softly and carry a pointy stick." sound familiar? "Talk softly and carry a big stick" Theodore Roosevelt for all the young people out there. I learned about it in school. :)
But this other sentiment is best. "Who loves you baby?"
This is the card I made for Carly's sketch challenge.  The sketch is super easy and super cute!
Is this image not the cutest little image? I think my cards look so much better when Mom lets me use her Copics. The images anyway. She is letting me use her Copics for one card each month until she thinks I can use them all the time.
And this little watering can brad was perfect!
And the sentiment is so cute!

To a sweet friend and XOXO

Hello! Here are 2 more cards I made and a candy holder.
Mom had made one a few days ago and I copied hers. Of course hers was better but Dad had a hard time telling who made which! (I don't know if he was kidding or not.) And Mom didn't let me use one of her Heart Sparklets so I had to use a poopy old gemstone.
This is the card I made for La-La Land's challenge. You have to use blue and have at least 1 snowflake on your card. Mommy let me use her Copics to color it so the image turned out great. I also sparkled up the snowflake by putting white glitter over it.

This is just a close-up I got of the sentiment. I covered 'FRIEND' in white glitter.

OK, these pictures I took of this card are not the best. This is the only picture where you can see the sentiment clearly.

This is the whole card. A bit blurry but it was the best one.
I want to thank Mrs. Weaver for sending me the Marci stamps because Mom had bought me the Fancy Marci digi and I had used that to enter like 4 La-La Land challenges and she sent me the Fancy Marci stamp and the Cheerleader Marci. They are so cute!
Thanks for looking at my blog!
