Hello! On Saturday, Mom, Dad, Anna and I went to Gillian and Danny Woods's wedding! (they are people from church) We went at 5:00 and when we got there, we sat down and when the ceremony started, there was bagpipes!!! Gillian was so pretty! Her dress was simple with a chiffon overlay on the top and there was a big silver pin on the dress and her hair was all curled on top of her head. Here is a picture.(well, it's actually up top, isn't she pretty?) Mrs. Woods cried a lot during the ceremony.Mom said it was because "Danny is her only baby." Mom said like,when Anna gets married,Mom will be able to say that she still has some kids and I said, yea, we won't miss Anna:) At the reception, we had to do a lot of waiting, but the soup and salad was good! The reception's theme was 2 peas in a pod! The wedding favors were 2 peas in a pod salt and pepper shakers:) Here are some pictures.There is a video of them dancing above.

I'm 10!!

Hello! Well, this Friday, I turned 10!!!! Then, on Saturday,both sets of grandparents and my aunt came over. We had a cookout with hot-dogs and hamburgers and chips and then we had chocolate strawberry shortcake for dessert! And then it was Present Time. I'm going to let these pictures tell you all about it:) Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures of everything but Nana got me lots of news clothes and from Aunt Jen, I got a calligraphy writing set!! And Grammy got me a digital camera!!!!!! And there was this huge box and I opened it and on top was a cleaning rod for a flute! The flute should have been at the bottom but the box was just full of newspaper! I just pulling it out and pulling it out and then Aunt Jen couldn't contain herself and she lost it:)Then, Grampy came over and gave me this heavy package and whispered, "Emma, I got your Dad some silk ties at Goodwill, could you give them to him?" I said,"Those are some awfully heavy silk ties!" First of all, Dad doesn't wear ties! Second, Grampy never, ever goes to Goodwill. It was, you guessed it, (maybe) the flute!

I got a beautiful pair of flip-flops from Anna! (the dollar store
is amazing, and cheap:)

I GOT A FLUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about the sideways thing. This was the only good one Anna got! Oh, and that is one of the new dresses that Nana got me. I LOVE it!

Indonesia-An absolutely amazing country!

Hello! I was just doing a report on Indonesia for school and as I read more and more about it, I decided I had to post about Indonesia! If you think Indonesia is just another place, you should really read this. (Information from Wikipedia)

"Indonesia, officially the Republic of Indonesia, is a country in Southeast Asia. Indonesia is an archipelago comprising approximately 17,508 islands!! (Take that Hawaii:) It has 33 provinces with over 238 million people and is the world's fourth most populous country. The nation's capital city is Jakarta. The Indonesian economy is the world's 17th largest economy by nominal GDP. It consists of 17,508 islands out of which only 6,000 are inhabited! It's average population density is about 134 people per square kilometer. Indonesia has at least 150 active volcanoes including Krakatoa and Tambora, both famous for their devastating eruptions in the 19th century. The eruption of the Toba super volcano, approximately 70,000  years ago was one of the largest eruptions ever and a global catastrophe. Recent disasters due to seismic activity include the 2004 tsunami that killed an estimated 167,736 people in Northern Sumatra."

My very first Giveaway!!!!

Hello! Today, I am having my very first giveaway!!! I am going to be Megann in this blog post. (She just seem so excited when she posts and she uses tons of !!!!'s:) So, the prizes are actually made by my mom. She had a bunch of these things she had made and she said I could use them!! And this notebook goes by itself. I love it!!


And finally, this awesome pen. It has these little bubble things on it. I am
not really sure what it is made of but it's awesome! (my dad even has one with a journal Mom
made for him)
